Bulgaria is currently conquering the international market with wines whose price/quality ratio is one of the most competitive in the world.
TEXAVINO is the first company in the Benelux to select, promote and import the best Bulgarian wines for all distribution professionals.

Why Bulgarian wines?

Bulgaria is a large wine-producing country whose wine-producing tradition dates back to 6000-4000 BC. The wine culture, drinking wine and trade in wine have always been very well established in the lives of the Bulgarians and their ancestors. Over the centuries, these deep roots have endured despite all the changes in regime that have occurred during that time. And this thanks to only one thing: its terroir.

Spectacular terroir

The richness of the Bulgarian terroir makes it possible to produce high-quality grapes and wines.
In addition to international grape varieties, it is also a region rich in local varieties such as Mavrud and Rubin.

Extraordinary commercial potential

Bulgaria is a wine-producing country with enormous commercial potential since it is able to produce considerable volumes. The current surface area of the vineyards is bigger than that in Australia. In Bulgaria there are as many Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes as there are in the Bordeaux region.

At present Bulgaria exports more wine to Russia and Poland than France or any other large wine-producing country.
During the nineteen seventies Bulgaria was the second-largest global exporter of wine and the largest exporter of grapes for eating.
We think that Bulgaria will be in the top 10 of wine-producing countries with its trump card the principle of one of the best price/quality ratios in the world; in its rightful place.

With production volumes of more than 200 hectares minimum per property, the sales potential is enormous

Guaranteed quality
At present, the quality is constant each year. It is guaranteed by a strict return on the vine, an extremely modern and ripening in French oak barrels. Talented and ingenious œnologists guarantee an excellent balance and an undeniable elegance in the wines.
