VVinex Slavyantsi is one of the oldest wineries (19th century) and one of the most committed in Bulgaria. Even as far back as the 19th century they won gold medals at the international wine competition in Brussels with their famous “Sungurlare” Chardonnay. Nowadays, their wines frequently wine gold and silver medals at the “Chardonnay-du-monde” and “Mundus Vini” competitions.

The domain has a surface area of over 600 hectares, 50% of which is private and the other 50% in a cooperative.
The winery is in the east of the Valley of the Roses, close to the Black Sea (sandy clay loam soil and calcareous subsoil).
Their white and red wines are simply fantastic and there is a selection of assemblages with a finesse rare in Bulgaria. Quality is their major concern and they focus on the production of organic wines. Their basic wine “LEVA” is made with grapes picked by hand with little crates and it has a perfect balance.
Leva is an assemblage of Chardonnay, Dimyat (a Bulgarian variety commonly used for the production of brandy) and Muscat which gives it a hint of sweetness; ideal for accompanying asparagus or enjoying as an aperitif on the patio.
